Understanding your score
Scores range from 0 to 100. Tiles closer to their target positions earn a higher score.
What your result means
This score describes this arrangement, not intelligence. Display settings, lighting and practice can affect the result.

EyeTest Online uses its own position-error algorithm. For each movable tile, count how many positions it is away from its target, then add these distances across all four rows. Fixed endpoints do not count. The maximum total error is 128. Arrangement score = round(100 × (1 − total position error ÷ 128)). Higher is closer to the target order.
A perfect arrangement gives 100 / 100, 32 / 32 correct positions and zero error. Swapping one adjacent pair gives 98 / 100, 30 / 32 and error 2. Reversing all four rows gives 0 / 100 and error 128. Correct positions and Arrangement score measure different things: the score includes the distance of each mistake.
Your score describes this arrangement, not intelligence or a diagnosis. Screen settings, lighting and practice can affect results. This challenge uses original palettes and a custom score, not a standardized clinical hue test.
Arrange the 8 movable tiles between each pair of fixed colors. On a phone, work through four vertical rows; you can return to any row to make changes. Submit all four rows together to see your results.
Frequently asked questions
A few things to know before you start.
Can I use the test without dragging?
Yes. Select a tile and use the move controls or arrow keys.
Can I change an earlier row?
Yes. Use the row buttons or Previous to return to an earlier row. Your arrangement stays in place, and answers are only shown after you submit.
How is this different from a color blind test?
This challenge asks you to arrange similar hues. A color blind test asks you to identify patterns in colored plates. Neither online activity replaces a professional eye examination.
Can my screen affect the result?
This score describes this arrangement, not intelligence. Display settings, lighting and practice can affect the result.
